Mikhail Litvin is one of the leaders of the men's team of Kazakhstan in track and field athletics. Now he is seeking to get the best form for a successful performance at the Asian Games in Jakarta in late August.
Litvin's sports specialization is running for 400 metres. His task for this year is to run the distance faster than 46 seconds. Kazakhstan’s coaches believe such a result will make it possible to really claim the medal of the Asian Games.
Litvin managed to approach this result at the 48th International Leichtathletik Meeting in the German city of Rhede on June, 16. He won the race in 400 metres with a time of 46.16 s. Kazakhstan’s athlete was more than one and a half seconds ahead of the nearest opponent!
46.16 s. is one of the best results for Mikhail Litvin. He ran faster only once – in 2015. Then the Kazakhstan’s runner set his personal record of 46.08 s.
48 International Leichtathletik Rhede Meeting became for Litvin - the second competition in Europe. Earlier, he finished third in the Riga Cup on May, 29. Mikhail ran 400 metres for 46.51s there.
